Add a colourful finishing detail to bags, quilts, garments and sewing projects with ready-made Devonstone cotton bias binding. Made from premium coordinating Devonstone fabric, each 25mm single fold binding is cut on the bias and pre-folded to bend smoothly around curves and corners.

Choose from playful rainbow spots and stripes on black or white backgrounds to coordinate with Devonstone Fundamentals, Devonstone Solids quilting cotton and your favourite bag-making materials.

What Is Single Fold Bias Binding?

Single fold bias binding has both long raw edges folded towards the centre. It can be wrapped over the edge of a project to create a neat finish, used as a decorative trim or combined with suitable piping cord to make piping.

Perfect for Bags, Quilts and Everyday Sewing

Use Devonstone bias binding for:

• Binding bag edges and internal seams
• Finishing pockets and feature panels
• Adding colour to straps and decorative details
• Quilt, placemat and home sewing edges
• Garment necklines, armholes and hems
• Making piping with a suitable cord

Our Devonstone cotton bias binding is sold by the metre, with multiple quantities supplied as one continuous length wherever possible.

Designed to Coordinate

The spot and stripe designs coordinate with matching Devonstone Fundamentals fabrics and a wide range of solids, prints, zipper tapes, threads, webbings and bag hardware. Use the binding as a small accent or repeat it across several parts of your project for a connected look.

Helpful Tip from Chris

Ease the binding gently around curves without stretching it too tightly. Sewing clips can help hold the layers evenly in place before stitching, particularly around curved edges or thicker bag seams.
