How to Use the 1/4″ Snap On Presser Foot

1. Raise the needle and presser-foot holder, then remove the current snap-on foot.
2. Position the crossbar of the quarter-inch foot beneath the presser-foot holder and lower the holder until the foot snaps into place.
3. Set your sewing-machine needle to the centre position.
4. Before sewing, turn the handwheel slowly by hand to confirm that the needle passes safely through the opening without touching the foot.
5. Place the fabric beneath the foot and align its edge with the right side of the presser foot.
