Sewing Tips
- Use a Size 16 needle
- A Teflon foot helps prevent sticking; a walking foot also works well
- Use sewing clips instead of pins to avoid holes
- Press seams with a seam roller or seam creaser / pressing tool (no heat) You can find a large variety of sewing tools and notions here
- Use double sided tape (DST) or adhesive combined with topstitching for clean edges
- Stitch lengths: 3.0 mm for construction seams and 3.5–4.5 mm for topstitching, or use your preferred settings
Care and Handling
- Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth
- Do not iron directly on the vinyl
- If pressing is needed, press from the reverse side on low heat using a pressing cloth
- Store rolled rather than folded to avoid creasing
