Crossbody Strap Hardware Kit 38mm for Adjustable Bag Straps
Creating an adjustable strap is much easier when every piece of hardware is already selected in the correct size and a coordinating finish. This 38mm (1.5″) kit contains the five components used to make a detachable, adjustable strap for crossbody bags, shoulder bags, totes and other bag making projects.
Choose from Silver, Gold, Rainbow, Rose Gold, Gunmetal, Bronze, Brass and Black.

Each component is sized for a 38mm (1.5″) finished strap, taking the guesswork out of matching the hardware to your webbing or handmade strap.

How the Hardware Works
Swivel Clips are secured at each end of your strap so it can be clipped onto or removed from your bag.
D Rings are installed on the bag to create attachment points for the Swivel Clips.
The Adjustable Strap Slider allows the strap length to be shortened or extended for a comfortable fit.
Choose Your Strap Style
Use 38mm webbing for a quick and practical strap, or make a coordinating strap from vinyl faux leather, fabric or another suitable bag making material.
Depending on your chosen material and construction method, the strap ends can be secured with stitching, Double Cap Rivets or a combination of both. Threadsation™ Bag Makers Sewing Thread is an excellent choice when you want strong, reliable stitching.

- Check that your webbing or finished strap is 38mm wide.
- Confirm the finished strap length required by your pattern or project.
- Allow extra length for threading through the slider and folding around the hardware.
- Choose stitching or rivets suited to the thickness and construction of your strap.
