Fun in the Sun – Halter Neck Collection

The Fun in the Sun collection includes 3 Halter Neck Dresses & 2 Halter Neck Tops you can sew for your dolls.  

I’ve designed this Fun in the Sun doll sewing pattern to fit a variety of different size 15″ to 18″ dolls including American Girl®, Australian Girl®, Journey Girl®, Our Generation®, Madame Alexander®, Baby Born®, Cabbage Patch® and similar size.

The Fun in the Sun dresses and tops are perfect to wear on summer picnics in the park, a day shopping with friends, or while enjoying a Caribbean cruise.  All eyes will be admiring your doll no matter where she goes or what she does wearing her Fun in the Sun dresses and tops.

The bodice has two cross-over bodice pieces which are finished with bias binding.  You can make your own bias binding or use ready-made.  For a more dramatic look, you may use a contrasting binding, or for a more subtle look, use the same fabric as the main part of the dress.
