Let’s take a closer look at how to apply Heat n Bond Iron On Vinyl

General Directions

  1. Pre-wash all materials without fabric softeners. Pretest adhesive on materials before starting project.
  2. Preheat iron to medium heat, no steam.
  3. Peel vinyl from protective paper. Place vinyl, sticky side down, onto top of material. Place protective paper that was just removed on top of vinyl.
  4. Press and hold iron on the protective paper for 8 seconds. Repeat until entire surface is laminated. Do not touch iron directly to vinyl!
  5. Flip project over. Press and hold iron on back of project for additional 4 seconds. Repeat until entire surface has been heated.
  6. Allow to cool before sewing or using project.

Note: Heat n Bond Iron On Vinyl is not certified food-safe for direct food contact. While Heat n Bond Iron On Vinyl is nontoxic and phthalate-free, any food items must first be placed in a food-safe wrap, bag or other covering before placing it inside an item covered with Iron-On Vinyl.

Tips

  • Always use protective cover. DO NOT touch iron directly to vinyl on either side of project.
  • For double-sided vinyl projects, adhere sticky side of vinyl to the remaining side of material and repeat steps 3-5
  • Pre-wash all materials (without fabric softener) you will be using prior to fusing. Pre-test adhesive on materials prior to fusing.
  • Do not touch iron directly to the Vinyl. Always cover Vinyl with protective sheet or parchment paper before ironing. Do not iron directly to your ironing board.
  • Wipe clean with damp cloth. If washing is a must, wash on gentle cycle and line dry. If any peeling or crinkling occurs, cover the vinyl with parchment paper and re-iron.

Shipping

Order Processing Times

Orders are processed from Monday to Friday and typically shipped within 1-2 business days.  We know how exciting it is when you place an order and that you can’t wait to receive it and that’s why we strive to process and post your orders as fast as we can.

The exception to this is when there’s public holiday, when we have a sale and receive a large volume of orders, when we’re away on a vacation, and severe weather for example cyclones, and floods.

Vacations:  When we’re away on a vacation you will find a notice on the home page of our shop as well as in the Updates section.  If you’re a VIP Email Subscriber you will generally be sent and email update advising of the dates we’re away so you can plan your orders ahead of time.

Australia Post

If your order is dispatched through Australia Post, tracking details will be provided through the Australia Post Tracking service.

Opting for Express Shipping means your order will be shipped via the Australia Post Express Service, but please note that processing time remains the same. All orders are handled in the sequence they are received.

Australia Post offers Standard Mail delivery within 3-7 business days and Express Delivery within 1 business day in the Express Post Network. Remote areas may experience longer delivery times.  Check with Australia Post for further information on shipping times.

We cannot be held responsible for missing or lost goods as these events are outside of our control.  Australia Post offers insurance, signature on delivery, express post and more, helping to ensure your parcel is delivered to you safely.

Please check your postal address details very carefully before you confirm the order.  If your parcel goes missing please contact Australia Post or your local post office.

Click and Collect

For Click and Collect orders, you will receive an email once your item is ready for collection.  Collection is in Beenleigh Qld Australia.  Exact address information will be provided in your email.

International Shipping

We no longer ship outside of Australia due to the ever changing importing and exporting tax rules and regulations.
