I’ve been using this Sew Easy Extra Large Cutting Mat on the cutting table in our CLD Sewing Studio and have been really impressed with its quality. It feels strong, substantial and durable, giving me a stable cutting surface when using a rotary cutter.
I also love being able to simply flip the mat over depending on whether I want to work in metric or imperial measurements. The extra large size gives me plenty of room for cutting bag panels, fabric and larger pattern pieces without constantly moving everything around.
For accurate cutting, pair your mat with a long quilting ruler for straight cuts and a curved ruler when you want to create smooth, consistent curved corners.
