Using Quilting Cotton for Bag Making

This all-over floral is beautiful as a feature fabric on bag exteriors, pockets and panels. It also makes a distinctive lining when paired with vinyl faux leather, a coordinating solid or Petra Prins Pindots.

Quilting cotton can be used for exterior bag panels when paired with a suitable interfacing or wadding to provide the amount of body required by your pattern.

For additional structure, pair it with Sure Fuse MEDIUM Cotton Woven Fusible Interfacing.

How to Order Your Fabric

• Quantity 1 = 50cm
• Quantity 2 = 1 metre
• Quantity 3 = 1.5 metres
• Quantity 4 = 2 metres
• Quantity 5 = 2.5 metres

When you order more than one unit, your fabric will be cut as one continuous length wherever possible.

Helpful Tip from Chris

If your finished project will be regularly washed, consider prewashing your fabric before cutting. Wash and dry it in the same way you expect to care for the finished project.
